A dawn-to-dusk ride across three mountain passes, without a single stop for fuel.
We left before sunrise, when the valley air was still cold enough to fog the visor. The Adventure X doesn't announce itself the way a combustion bike does -- there's no warm-up idle, no smell of exhaust, just a quiet click and then torque. Over the next eleven hours we crossed three passes, stopped twice to top up at a Fast Home Charger borrowed from a farmhouse, and never once thought about where the nearest fuel station was. By the time the sun dropped behind the last ridge, the only sound in the whole ride had been wind.
